ISION TIME IS NOT WASTED TIME
PART 3 THE FAMILY:

Intro:
Family – a group of one or more parents and their children together as a unit. ( notice as a unit – united as one )
Spiritual: Vision
1. Normal – see clearly what the Word of God says and understand it normally for the moment and the future.
2. Near sited – See clearly only what is in the Word of God at the moment.
3. Far sited – See for the moment blurry and what is far away clearly.
4. Blindness – Can’t see at all or very blurry now and in the future.
5. Exceptional – See clearly through the eyes of the Holy Spirit and your renewed spirit in the Word of God and revelation for now and the future, and the very far future.
Foundation Scriptures:
Proverbs 29:18 AMPC
“Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.”
If the family doesn’t get a clear vision of their purpose and unify in the Word of God and through Christ Jesus it will fall a part and will lose all power of God to uphold faith in God , the family sanctity, and direction in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ here and abroad.
John 16:13 NIV
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide (shew, reveal, open your eyes to) you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come(revelation information).”

A. VISION OF YOUR FAMILY IN THE NOW:
· Relationship with Jesus each personally & as a Family.
Prayer – Word of God – Listening to Christian music – Talk about Jesus
· Safety – Physical, Emotional, and Sociological
· Financial stability – Food, clothing, Good Housing, security.
· Honor & Respect – Honor parents, honor one another.
· Loyalty – support each other in every way.
· Instruction – teaching the truth in every area of life.
· Correction – the right correction in the right attitude.
· Friendship – friends not enemies living together.
· Growth – Physical, Mental, Emotional, and spiritual.
B. VISION OF YOUR FAMILY IN THE FUTURE:
(Galatians 5:22-23) - Fruitful physically & spiritually
· Love – that is according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 NIV
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
· Joy – that is unspeakable – full of the glory of God.
· Peace – that passes all understanding.
· Gentleness – that is appropriate for all circumstances.
· Kindness – that treats others as you want to be treated.
· Goodness – that is molded after the goodness of God.
· Faithfulness – that never turns your family away.
· Patience – that allows others to have time to grow up.
· Self-control – in every area of your life, especially with one another in problems that come up.
Conclusion:
The enemy wants to destroy the family from the inside, the outside, and from every side possible. If he can destroy the family, he can destroy the church.
The family needs VISION (revelation) of their present and future wholeness. If each member of the family is out for themselves and loses the vision for a Godly Family that stays together no matter what then the enemy with destroy it and you.
The family is God breathed and is sacred and should be protected through the blood of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
